Daily dog walks (dailies)
It can be a long day for dogs whose moms and dads are at work all day. A lunch-time visit will give some exercise and companionship to your pet and help alleviate boredom. I would be delighted to be part of your pet's routine.
A daily one-half hour visit might go as follows:
Arrive at house/condo. Enter and exchange warm greetings with Sweetheart. Wags! Kisses! Mark daily card on 'fridge. Stuff pocket with plastic baggies, treats (if needed), and affix leash. Leave house with Sweetheart, locking front door behind. Take familiar route along trails or through neighborhood. Pick up when Sweetheart does her doggy business. After walk, wipe her paws if damp, freshen her water bowl, give treat(s) as approved by her owner, snuggle or play for any time remaining (there is always time for a belly rub). Leave a short note for the owner with a progress report. Secure house and say goodbye 'til next time.
Vacationing Dogs
An alternative to boarding, pets can stay in the comfort of their own homes and receive visits from us! We typically do two to three 30-minute visits during the day and then a "potty break" visit at 9 p.m. It is best for dogs not to hold it too long! During the visits your pet will be fed, walked or let out in yard as directed. There will be ample time for play. Water bowls are checked and refreshed each visit.
In addition, in order to maintain a lived-in appearance for your home, we bring in the mail, water indoor plants, rotate blinds, and turn lights on and off. Trash and recyclables will be taken out to the street on the appointed day. Care is taken to keep your doors locked and security systems armed while you are away.
